Sad Story 1
I’m so disappointed and depress. These few days, there were lots of bad things happened to me. I almost didn’t know what to do but luckily I have my sons who kept me busy all the time and I almost forgot about all my problems. I was actually couldn’t believe these could happened to me. Suddenly it came without giving any signal or warning. I was clueless but I did try thinking of other possible solution but unfortunately it didn’t work at all. Although I could not accept it but I have to believe in my fate. I tried to console myself whereas the other part of me keeps on insulting and blaming me. I was totally devastated but I still able to cool myself down. I tried to think positive, maybe it was not my lucky day. Who knows I might get better opportunity after this?!

The Rainbow of Life
We do not live in a black and white world. We live in a rainbow world. Colors are everywhere. Colors are beautiful. A toilet bowl is white. A panda is white and black. A crow is black. The sky and the ocean are blue. An apple is red or green. An orange is always orange, but the sun is sometimes orange. A stop light is red, yellow, and green. A lemon is yellow. People are white, brown, or black. Fishes and birds are many different colors. Hair is white, gray, brown, black, or red. A golf ball and a baseball are white. A basketball is orange. A tennis ball is green. A fire engine is red. A police car is black and white. The moon and the stars are white. Grass is green, but dirt is brown. A fried egg is yellow and white. Your blood is red. Your teeth are white. A stop sign is red and white. You cannot talk about colors to blind people. They have never seen colors. We have to appreciate what we have today.

A day at the Beach

I rarely got the chance to walk on the beach but that day was my lucky day. I was actually familiar with that beach because my parents used to bring me here when I was a child. The beach and the surrounding were still the same, not much change expects for the sling chaise from patio furniture that they put along the beach. The rules there were still the same. When the water was unsafe, the lifeguards would put red flags up and down the beach to warn swimmer to stay out of the water. I was unlucky because the day I went there was a red flag day. The lifeguard told me that fierce riptides and lots of jellyfish were predicted for the next 24 hours. It was windy and completely overcast. So I decided to sit on the sling chaise and watched a far away stationary ship floated. I felt completely peaceful and relax but suddenly I heard a voice shouted at me and said “Mummy! Where have you been? We’ve been looking all over the place for you”.

Public vs Dogs

I was attracted with this one law which bars dog from occupying the driver’s seat in a moving vehicle. Even though that person is protected by term life insurance they still can’t do this for the safety of the public. From what I know, the government implemented this new law because of Paris Hillton! They think she is a little rich girl who always gets her way plus, her daddy is a rich and famous icon. She loves to drive around the town with her little dog Lovey hanging out the driver’s window. They claimed that the action is not only dangerous for her but also dangerous to other motorist and pedestrians as well. The state senate said “I love dogs but when it comes to protecting the people of California, dogs will have to take the back seat”. Hahaha…..it was funny and I can’t deny that he is right!

Again?!

My friend just bought a new sedan car, a new edition of Toyota Vios. He told me that some days he would go out to his car and just sat in it. He said, he was going for a therapy next week so he needed to give some practice to his wife in driving the car. The doctor advised him not to drive by himself because he would feel weak after the therapy session. I could still remember one incident happened to him. It was his first therapy and he was driving alone after the therapy. He was half conscious and suddenly he crashed on someone car. Luckily there was a roadside assistance on that time. That guy helped him with the car and he also called his wife and sent him to the hospital. Yesterday another similar accident happened again. He was actually giving practice to his wife. I don’t know what actually happened but he told me that his wife slammed the new Toyota Vios with a huge tree. Poor him….I hope I could give him a visit tomorrow.

Short Shopping

I woke up early yesterday. My husband has gone to the office and the kids were at their grandma’s house. At 10a.m I got into my car and drove to Metrojaya, a department store about 15 kilometers away. Metrojaya was having a school holiday sale and of course I could not miss this great opportunity. Beside, the kids were not here so I could go shopping all day long. There were lots of things at the department store but unfortunately there were only little money to spend. Before going there I’ve made promise to myself not to swipe on my credit card. I would pay everything by cash and I would only spend what I have in my purse. With that little money I have, I managed to buy 2 blouses, a t-shirt for each of the kids and also a tuxedo vest for my husband. Before this he told me that he has a dinner to attend with his new boss so I guess he could wear the vest for that occasion. On my way home, I stopped at the grocery store to buy some food for that week. I arrived home at 12.30 a.m. A long shopping turned out to be a short one.

Be polite

When I went for shopping yesterday, I saw a big, homely, overweight young woman. She was in her late 20s probably. There was no ring on her finger so she could be single probably. In fact, judging from her unfriendly attitude, she probably had no boy friend. Unless she started dieting, exercising on the treadmill regularly, she would probably find one soon. Well, I just thought to myself. When I was at the counter, she said nothing to me, not even a single smile. I just watched her yanked shirt off its hanger, removed each tag and folded each shirt quickly but carelessly. Even though the building was air-conditioned but she was sweating on her forehead. I saw her several times wiped the sweat off with the back of her hand. Then I gave her my credit card and her face turned sour as if I asked her to lick the floor! While she was waiting for the receipt, she didn’t even have a slight looked at me! Then she just handed the receipt and pen without any instruction came out from her mouth. I said thank you and picked up the bag. The young woman said nothing to me but a sour face.

Lucky?

I don’t know what had happened to my laptop at home. Suddenly I can’t turn it on. When I press the ‘on’ button, nothing happen in fact nothing appeared on the screen. As far as I am concern, I’m the only one who uses the laptop. My husband has his own and the kids, they don’t know how to operate a laptop. If something happen to my laptop, I don’t have to worry because I have online backup since several months ago. Not only documents, but I also backup my pictures, songs and program. So, I guess I don’t have to worry very much about it. After this, I’m going to take my laptop to the specialist. The laptop is still in guarantee. Hope nothing serious happens especially to the hardware.

Back to Memory Lane

I was in the storeroom. I was about to saw the wood for my latest project, photo frame. I liked to make things by myself. Previously I’ve made coin container, jewelry box and also a pencil container. Although those things were not very nice but I just don’t care. I do it just for self-satisfaction and not for commercial. I opened the blinds so that I could get more sunlight into the store. I grabbed a saw from a drawer. It stated a word “stainless steel” on one side of the blade. The blade was very thin and light. The teeth were very sharp and it has a wood handle. I could remember I had the saw 10 years ago at the industrial products fair. The seller told me that this was a great saw, you could saw almost anything you like and the sharp edge is guaranteed for life! I knew I couldn’t deny it. It was great but yet very dangerous. A couple of years ago, I was very careless. I was rapidly sawing a wood when suddenly the blade got my finger. Luckily my finger is still here with me but due to that incident, the doctor put five stitches in my finger. The doctor reminded me to be careful and I was so careful that I didn’t use the saw for almost a year, only recently I start using it.

Laundry Day

Saturday morning meant one thing for me, a laundry day. I hated to do the laundry but I know I have to do it and it is part of my weekly routine now. Unenthusiastically I took the pillow cases off all the pillows. I also wiped the contemporary furniture with a wet cloth. Then I removed the fitted sheet from the mattress. I also took the towel off from the towel bar at the bathroom. Finally, I put everything in the automatic washing machine. Everything will be settled by that machine and I don’t even have to set the timer. After about 30 minutes, I heard music coming out from the washing machine and I knew the washing was done. Then I put everything in the laundry basket and ready to hang them all outside the house. How happy I would be when my laundry was done for this week.
