Home Safety
Nowadays we have to be extra careful with our safety. Home is our shelter and all of us should make sure that it is a safe place for our family. These are the things that I plan to install at my house; an alarm, auto gate and also home insurance. Of course all of these things are important but at this moment, I have to choose ONE because of money restriction. I have to choose one that is really important and can protect my family. I always wanted an auto gate, it would be easier for me because we can control the gate only by using remote. It means that I don’t have to get out from the car. In term of safety, auto gate can prevent strangers from taking advantage the moment I get out from the car, close the gate and get back in the car. I’m worried about the safety of my children who were inside the car. Then, an alarm. This is also important to prevent thief from break in the house especially at night. On the other hand, home insurance is also important to protect against unexpected losses to my home from disasters. So, how should I make decision? Which is MORE important? I’m really confuse right now… -
Deadly jellyfish
The British man chosen from more than 30,000 applicants to look after an island on Australia’s Great Barrier Reef has survived being stung by a deadly jellyfish on Hamilton Island.Ben Southall, the man with the best job in the world, struck trouble in paradise when he felt a small bee-like sting on his arm, as he was getting off a jet ski. The 34 year-old Briton later noticed a tingling sensation in his hands and feet, before developing a severe headache, back pain and high blood pressure. The culprit was a tiny but extremely poisonous Irukandji jellyfish. It may only be the size of a peanut, but it has killed unwary swimmers in the past.
Ben is recovering and is in the final week of his contract, where he’s been employed by Australian tourism officials to promote the wonders of the Queensland coast.
Small but yet powerful, I’m saying about the Irukandji jellyfish. I’m extremly amaze with this small creature but yet it can kill human. Maybe we can take note on this; Dont judge people’s ability before you see the outcome.

Mid Night Sale
New Year is not only synonym with fire crackers but also with MEGA SALE! This is the time where people can buy branded things at an affordable prize. But, is it really cheap or the store mark up the prize then they simply put the discount tag (70%, 50%, ect….) and at the end the consumer actually pay the original prize without them realizing it! How can we prevent ourself from becoming the victim? Simple, if you see overlapping prize tag, you should consider on buying them. When you use a bit of your common sense, it does mean something. Well, actually I’m one of the victim too
I just can’t stop myself from buying beauty product such as compact powder, maskara, and lipstick. Those things were really cheap and I would feel regret if I don’t buy them! I also bought slimming pills at an affordable prize. No one can deny the effectiveness of these pills. It is not for me, it is for my mother actually. Recently she kept on complaining about her weight and I hope this will help her. Of course these pills are safe! So, for women out there, go and grab your favourite items but always remember to be a wise consumer. Happy shopping! -
Marketing Strategy
Women are always concern about their weight. That’s natural because we cannot separate beauty with women. A slim figure woman is always assumed as beautiful. This is fact and nobody can deny it and nobody likes to have a flabby body. For me, to be in perfect shape means that I’m in the state of confidence and will feel easy and comfortable to interact with people. For that reason, I think I need the fat burner to help me stay slim forever (hopefully). Further, my work required me to look good all the time so that our customer will have the interest on our product. If I can sell more means that BONUS awaiting for me! Yeay!!! -
Notorious Cairo
Cairo is notorious for its overcrowded roads, irregular driving practices and rickety old vehicles, but also for its air pollution. In recent months though, environmental studies indicate there have been signs of improvement. That’s due in part to the removal of many of the capital’s antiquated black and white taxis. Most of those dating back to the 1960s and 70s were in a poor state of repair. After new legislation demanded their removal from the roads, a low interest loan scheme was set up with three Egyptian banks so drivers could buy new cars. The government pays about $900 for old ones to be scrapped and advertising on the vehicles helps cover repayments.
The idea has proved popular with customers – they can now travel in air-conditioned comfort – and because the new cabs are metered, they don’t have to haggle over fares. Banks and car manufacturers are glad for the extra business in tough economic times. As for the taxi drivers, most are delighted to be behind the wheel of new cars, although there have been a few complaints about switching from black and white to a plain white colour. ‘Our cabs used to look distinctive‘, one man told me ‘they were part of our heritage, like the pyramids. If you saw them in an old movie, you knew it was shot in Cairo’.

New Year Wish

I’m just bored with the decade old fat monster type TV which has taken valuable space in my small bedroom. I wish I could get the plasma TV, sleek and smart design, with high picture quality. The most important thing is, plasma TV would not take much space in my room. I went to my friend’s house recently and I was shocked to see the plasma TV doesn’t take space at all, it was up on the wall! It was so comfortable to lie back in bed, look up and enjoy the show! She told me that plasma mounts need adequate support if not it will end up disaster! And of course we have to make sure the wall is strong enough. Not only the TV, she also wall mounted the speakers and it does make impact on the look of her bedroom and also the sound can be heard in any angel. That is so wonderful! Having all those things would be my 2010 resolution. Wish me luck

Resort spa
Just want to share my experience to resort spa in today’s entry. I went there for 2 days with my two sons. It was a cool place where I enjoyed my spa treatment while staying overnight with my sons. I paid for my spa treatment a la carte instead of having them as part of the total package. I just did the reflexology, facial and hair massage. In reflexology, the therapist works primarily on my feet. The theory behind reflexology is that there are “reflex points” in the feet, hands and ears that relate to specific organs and glands in the body. I felt deeply relxaed after the treatment and I can felt it throughout my body.
Then, they do thorough cleansing on my face with cotton pads or sponges and a product chosen for my oily skin type. In the end of the treatment I can feel the softness of my skin. Before I went out, the esthetician gave me advice on home skin care.
Hair treatment if my favourite. First they washed my hair in a copper sink (they have several stylish copper sinks there!), then they massage my scalp using aromatherapy oil for about ten minutes. Afters that they put shampoo on my hair. The best part is, I asked them to straighten my hair and I’m really satistied with the outcome, they ‘new’ me! It was such a great experience and I’m looking forward to go to Day Spa soon.

Arranged Marriage
I rarely heard about arranged marriage here in my country. I guess the number of arranged marriages are declining dramatically. As we know in arranged marriage, the bride doesn’t know the groom and the groom doesn’t even know the bride. The parents arrange the marriage and introduce them for a few weeks, they only have the opportunity to get to know each other for a short while before they are getting married. Everything starts after the marriage. Of course every parents want the best for their children and I guess every parents will try their best to find a suitable life partner for their children. But if the marriage doesn’t work, should they be blamed of? Of course not because our parents are not God, they don’t know what would happen in the future, it’s actually the bride and the groom responsibility to maintain good relationship in their marriage. For me, love after the marriage is the greatest thing because everything you do with your spouse is not something forbidden by the religion. You’ll get the bless from God and you’ll go through all the good and bad things together. Other then that, no matter you marriage is arranged by someone or not, the key word for a successful marriage is tolerance. Everything will works well if we know how to tolerate with each other. -
Going for a Date
Yesterday morning I went to my frined’s house. Actually she invited me there because she needs my advice regarding the cloth that she’s going to wear for her first date! Going out for a date at the age of 30 is something complicated actually. Talking about my friend, she’s actually a brand name person. Everything that she own should be designer labels like Dior, Gucci, and lots more, she wears only branded items, with the original brand. I actually don’t mind with it as long as she can afford all those things, that should be okay. She has a good taste of styling actually and I know that she doesn’t really need my advice. I was right, she showed me a beautiful dress that perfectly suit her and I told her that her boyfriend will definitely purpose her! She also showed me the make-up that she will wear that night. Everything seems so perfect with her, the only thing is she has acne scattered all over her face. I suggested this acne treatment product to her and of course I would recommended something effective to my best friend. She promised me to try it soon and would report the outcome to me
Then, she showed me her shoes. It’s a simple one but I guess ‘less is more’. Hope everything would be okay and I can’t wait to share the happiness after the date! -
Recreational Vehicle (RV)
I’m pretty sure that those who lives in United States and Canada are familiar with recreational vehicle, RV. It is also known as motor home which includes room for sleeping and food preparation, for camping, short term accommodation, and travel. I’ve seen this kind of vehicle on television. There are lots of luxurious things inside, and it’s like a second home to the owner. With all the magnificent things inside, i’m sure that this kind of vehicle would have the rv insurance in order to protect the belongings. From what I’ve read the middle aged and retired Americans who wish to travel the continent are those who are interested with recreational vehicles. Could be this group that has led to the RV becoming a feature of modern American life. Nowadays, the luxury motor homes are more affordable than ever, you don’t need millions of dollars to have this ability to travel with freedom and comfort. Everybody can own a RV with their own money. I also hope that one day I can own a RV and we can travel any where without any worries.
