Journey to the Centre of Earth
I am now trying to read the novel version of this story. I’ve read the story which is narrated in comic form. Presented in a form of comic is actually easy to understand because there are visuals to help your understanding. The story line is quite interesting but the names of the characters are so bombastic and it can make my tongue twist.This story is actually about the quest to the centre of the earth. The expedition is led by Professor Otto Lidenbrock and includes Axel and their Icelandic guide Hans. Lidenbrock stumbles upon this discovery when he was going through a runic script. In the runic script he discovers a coded message written by an Icelandic alchemist Arne Saknussemm, saying that he has been to the centre of the earth. He goes on to describe how exactly he did it.

I’m Back!
I’m so glad to be back again. Lots of things happened lately and sometimes it makes me crazy! Not knowing how to overcome it, all I can do is just face it no matter what happen and mostly the outcome is not that successful. Who cares? As long as I can face it, that is good enough. But I always think about quality. Is there any quality in things that I do? I don’t know about people’s perception but to me, I’m too far left behind. That is too sad for me, at this age I’m not up to the appropriate standard. What should I do? I keep on thinking and thinking and soon I need to get the hair loss cures for myself. It’s true, lately there were so many hair fall from my head maybe that is the effect of too much thinking and dreaming perhaps!

Short Shopping
I woke up early yesterday. My husband has gone to the office and the kids were at their grandma’s house. At 10a.m I got into my car and drove to Metrojaya, a department store about 15 kilometers away. Metrojaya was having a school holiday sale and of course I could not miss this great opportunity. Beside, the kids were not here so I could go shopping all day long. There were lots of things at the department store but unfortunately there were only little money to spend. Before going there I’ve made promise to myself not to swipe on my credit card. I would pay everything by cash and I would only spend what I have in my purse. With that little money I have, I managed to buy 2 blouses, a t-shirt for each of the kids and also a tuxedo vest for my husband. Before this he told me that he has a dinner to attend with his new boss so I guess he could wear the vest for that occasion. On my way home, I stopped at the grocery store to buy some food for that week. I arrived home at 12.30 a.m. A long shopping turned out to be a short one.

Lucky?
I don’t know what had happened to my laptop at home. Suddenly I can’t turn it on. When I press the ‘on’ button, nothing happen in fact nothing appeared on the screen. As far as I am concern, I’m the only one who uses the laptop. My husband has his own and the kids, they don’t know how to operate a laptop. If something happen to my laptop, I don’t have to worry because I have online backup since several months ago. Not only documents, but I also backup my pictures, songs and program. So, I guess I don’t have to worry very much about it. After this, I’m going to take my laptop to the specialist. The laptop is still in guarantee. Hope nothing serious happens especially to the hardware.

Dream Car
I’m planning of buying a new car. Not actually a ‘new’ car but it is actually it is actually a second hand car. I really want to own imported car, not to show off but it is actually a self satisfaction. Buying a new one is almost impossible because I have a lot of commitment that I have to take into consideration. My dream car is a car made in Japan and it is so stylish. I just could not imagine how it would feels driving in a sophisticated car! Although it is a second hand car, the monthly payment is quite a big figure. Hopefully I can get a cheap car insurance for my ‘new’ car and I already get quotation from several companies but haven’t decide which one is the best. Getting ready for a new experience next month! Yeay!!!

How I spent my money today?
We are having 3 days holiday! That is really great. Yesterday we went to Econsave to buy our monthly needs. We just stick to our list and I’m so glad we don’t go over the limit. Everything is still in control. The next day, we went to JJ. At first I just want to buy a present for my friend’s wedding but we end up buying things that cost more than 300 ringgit! I myself could not believe it! What did I buy? I bought t-shirt and trousers for my boys, a bra, a pair of shoes (my hubby bought for me), a travelling bag and also wrinkle creams for my mom and my mother in-law. Hope they would not get me wrong when I give it to them latter.
Before going home, we went to a fast food restaurant because my youngest son is craving for fried chicken. I’m so happy because we really had a fun time together although it so tiring especially when handling the two boys.

New Laptop
At last I manage to get my own laptop! I’ve been dreaming of this for ages and now it is mine. I am so glad and proud of myself. Even though I didn’t get Sony VAIO, my dream laptop but this one is more than enough for me. I bought it online. Actually this is not the first product that I bought online but this one is the most expensive one. I totally satisfied with DELL services starting from ordering the product until I get it, no problem has occurred. I term of design, I can’t deny that I fall in love with this product the moment I have a look at it. I got attracted with it sleek new design and it is available in 4 colors. Mine is pink in color. Well, that can symbolize me actually. Further, my laptop is equipped with i3 processor, the latest processor in the market. I also got a carrying case for free when buying the laptop. After about a week using it, I have no problem except for the lost in control cursor.

Business Plan
For those who involve in business, for sure they are already familiar with barcode scanner, receipt printer and POS systems. But for people like me, I just know the basic function of all those things. I don’t have any experience involving in a business before but right now I have to know and I have to learn about business gadget and business strategies. I am right now involved in a small business. It is not totally my own business actually but I share it with a friend of mine, a very close friend whom I trust. We have just started the business and there are lots of things that we have to learn. Both of us are actually new in this. Further, getting ourselves involved in men’s product is really a big challenge for us because we ourselves are not men and we don’t have any experience using the product. That is why we have to be creative and have to come up with various strategies and plan. Hopefully everything will run smoothly for us and I really hope that we can see the outcome soon.

Budget
Everybody has an experience having a tight budget. Next month would be my turn. I have to pay my car’s installment for 2 months! It means that I have to pay more than a thousand to the bank that I’ve made loan with. Next month also we are going to have a vacation. I already booked the flight but not the hotel yet. Spending only two nights can cost nearly five hundreds. Then, I also would like to buy new pants and shirt for my kids also new lingerie and dress for myself. That would be about four hundred (hopefully hot more than that). Fuhhh….next month really going to be a tough month for us. There’s nothing much that I can do except hoping that everything would be in control.
I know that money management is very important. Both of us are working but still sometimes we cannot afford our living. Everything is so expensive from foods, facilities, education, everything!
Next year my youngest son will be going to kindergarten. We’ve planned to sent him to the best school but the registration coast would be as if you are entering your child to a university! When the time comes hopefully we would not change our mind. We just want the best for our children.

Facts About Sexual Harassment
Sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination. Unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct of a sexual nature constitutes sexual harassment when submission to or rejection of this conduct explicitly or implicitly affects an individual’s employment, unreasonably interferes with an individual’s work performance or creates an intimidating, hostile or offensive work environment.Sexual harassment can occur in a variety of circumstances, including but not limited to the following:
- The victim as well as the harasser may be a woman or a man. The victim does not have to be of the opposite sex.
- The harasser can be the victim’s supervisor, an agent of the employer, a supervisor in another area, a co-worker, or a non-employee.
- The victim does not have to be the person harassed but could be anyone affected by the offensive conduct.
- Unlawful sexual harassment may occur without economic injury to or discharge of the victim.
- The harasser’s conduct must be unwelcome.
It is helpful for the victim to directly inform the harasser that the conduct is unwelcome and must stop. The victim should use any employer complaint mechanism or grievance system available.
When investigating allegations of sexual harassment, EEOC looks at the whole record: the circumstances, such as the nature of the sexual advances, and the context in which the alleged incidents occurred. A determination on the allegations is made from the facts on a case-by-case basis.
Prevention is the best tool to eliminate sexual harassment in the workplace. Employers are encouraged to take steps necessary to prevent sexual harassment from occurring. They should clearly communicate to employees that sexual harassment will not be tolerated. They can do so by establishing an effective complaint or grievance process and taking immediate and appropriate action when an employee complains.
