  • Contemporary Teaching

    Date: 2010.07.19 | Category: Teaching | Response: 0

I attended a course yesterday. The speech was given by the head of education department in my district. I know that he is a very famous person but I never heard his speech before. I didn’t expect that he has so many things to say. Perhaps his vast experience in teaching made him a wide-knowledge person.

He talked about contemporary teaching to us. I never bother about that term before but when he arose the topic yesterday, I was startled. Then only I realize that I don’t actually know what contemporary teaching is…..still looking for the answer….

  • Simple Advice

    love

A friend of mine just got married and she asked me too many questions. Some of the questions are just too difficult for me to answer because I’m not a marriage expert and I only have 4 years of marriage experience. Nothing much that I’ve learnt in 4 years but I can tell her how to make two babies in 4 years J. I did tell her about vigrx and maybe she can suggest that to her husband. I also advised her not to take any dangerous medication because I might cause harm to our body. Whatever it is, the most important thing is both should enjoy and at the same time make new experiment as often as possible then choose the best one. Good luck!

The game went on smoothly but without a tight competition among participants. Most of them cannot spell the first word given to them and it means they cannot go to the next round. Believe it or not, I only have 4 contestants in the second round. It means from 15 participants, only 4 persons gave me the correct spelling in the first round. My work is easy anyway, from this 4 persons Ive to choose who will get the first, second and third place. The students managed to spell correctly all the words given to them in the second round and in the third round I got the winners already! The winners were so happy and I’m proud of them because they were very brave.

The teachers have planned to make a grand announcement to all our sponsors. We’ve decided to make it exactly like the photo graduation announcements where we will distribute cards with attractive designs and photos of the winners as well. Actually it is for the students, we want them to be appreciated so that they will eager to work hard and who knows by doing this they will get a sponsor as well to further their studies.

  • Jealousy

Is jealousy creating problems in your relationship? All of us have experienced that disturbing feeling called jealousy and it’s a fact that a third of all couples have trouble dealing with jealousy.

Anger and jealousy together will eat away at the fabric of a relationship and can have an effect on every part of your life.

    Does this describe you?

    • Are you the one who is jealous when their partner has done nothing wrong to deserve it?
    • On the other hand, are you the completely innocent victim of the jealous behaviour of your partner?
    • Alternatively, have you or your partner lied to the other, and are finding it difficult to trust each other again?

    What causes jealousy?

There are a number of myths about jealously as well as an associated relationship wrecker, possessiveness. Jealous behavior happens when we believe something about someone that is not actually true, typically caused by all the wild thoughts flowing through our mind.

Dealing with jealousy can be easier said than done, as it’s usually a result of life experiences that can leave somebody with a deep sense of insecurity in their private relationships. If you are unsure of yourself in the relationship with your partner then you are liable to have jealousy issues.

Are you too jealous of your partner?

You might be the jealous one yourself who needs help with overcoming your jealousy towards your partner.
If you are very jealous of your partner, it will wreck your relationship if not tackled immediately. Obsessive jealousy kills otherwise healthy relationships, and creates uncomfortable and distressing social situations. Jealousy has devastated many otherwise good relationships – don’t let it devastate yours.

Once you understand why jealousy happens there are ways for getting rid of jealousy for good providing you are ready to make changes

Are you a victim of a jealous partner?

Trust me, I have been a victim of jealousy myself and know exactly how you feel. You get the feeling of being watched constantly and become afraid of doing certain things to avoid trouble.

It’s not very nice at all and affects your social life and relationships with other people. It’s hard to understand why your partner is so jealous when you have done nothing wrong isn’t it?

If you love your partner, wouldn’t it be great to find out why they were so jealous and put an end to it so you could have a much better relationship?

What can be done to overcome jealousy?

The first step to changing anything in your life begins with making a firm promise to change. If you don’t make changes then you will stay in the same pattern of jealous behaviour forever.

You must break this pattern if you want to improve your relationship and finally overcome jealousy and insecurity. To conquer jealousy you have to understand your feelings and let go of the emotional baggage from your past. Then it’s up to you to take some action to help you with controlling the jealousy that is wrecking your relationship.

    How to stop jealousy.

If you really want to stop being jealous or if your partner is too jealous of you, then there is help available that will help you understand what jealousy is and how it can be overcome. If irrational jealousy is hurting your relationship, then you need to find out the causes and get advice so that you can stop it for good.

However, if you’re looking for a magic bullet for controlling jealousy, then there is no such thing.

  • Who I really am

    Date: 2010.03.10 | Category: Teaching | Response: 0

PhotobucketSometimes I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m not happy with myself. I don’t really know whether I’m happy with my career or not. After 7 years working, I fell like I’m not supposed to be here, I don’t deserve it! If I could turn back the time, for sure I will turn my career wheel to the other way and looking for something that could lead me to self satisfaction. Is it too late for me now? I’ve tried but maybe it is not enough. I have to work harder. But doing something without any encouragement is not really easy. What am I going to do?

  • What’s in the bag?

PhotobucketI just watched this one TV programme. It is about celebrities, their gossip and their life. One of the segments that I like in this programme is ‘looking inside the bag’. The reporter will check celebrities’ bag and have a look what are the things inside.
The first celebrity is a radio DJ. I like her because she’s a happy go lucky person, always cheerful and she also able to make the listeners’ day full of joy. In her bag there is a lotion, two cell phones, a pen and a notebook, several vitamins and also a perfume. I’m quite surprise because there is no make-up in her bag!
The next celebrity is a dancer. Of course in her beg there would be a set of make-up, mirror, perfume, and surprisingly she has a bottle of weight loss dietary supplement in her bag! No wander she looks so slim nowadays.
The last celebrity is an actress. She carried a set of make-up, chewing gum (to prevent from bad breath she said), one cell phone and a protection spray. Suddenly I wander, didn’t these people carry a pad with them?

  • The Power of Online

    Date: 2010.01.25 | Category: Teaching | Response: 0

Photobucket I’ve found it! At last our hard works are paid! I’m still talking about insurance J. I surfed on the net on insurance online and finally I’ve found premium that is suitable with our monthly budget. The coverage also is not too bad and the company offered quality coverage and has good claims record (based on our ‘investigation’). My husband also agreed with this one and we’ll do the process ASAP. Hope this would be the best choice for us!

  • My Money!

Hand DryerYesterday morning we had a small party at my work palce. It was my friend’s birthday celebration, a SURPRISE birthday party. He didn’t know about this, the moment he pushed the door open, all of us shouted “Happy Birthday!!!”. He was really shocked but then he realize that he was not dreaming.

There were lots of food at the party such as burgers, nuggets, home made cookies and breads, muffins, fried chicken, pizza and a birthday cake of course! I ate almost all the food but in small portions of course. After 20 minutes my stoomach felt uneasy and I rushed to the toilet which is located at the end of the block. After I’ve done, I took out a handkerchief from my pocket and all of sudden, my RM100 note dropped into the toilet bowl! That’s alot sum of money and of course I will NOT leave the money there. I looked around the toilet, looking for things that I might use to take the money.

Suddenly, I saw a mop laying against the wall of the tiolet. I grabbed the handle and I used it to take my money. I then washed the handle of the mop and I also put the money in the sink and washed it. I was so lucky because there were three hand dryers inside the tiolet. I used it to make my precious RM100 dry. Thanks to the mop, without you for sure I couldn’t take my money and appreciation also should be given to multi purpose hand dryer :)

  • November is here again

    Date: 2009.11.02 | Category: Teaching | Response: 0

PhotobucketWhen November is coming, it means busy days for me. Before we had a long holiday, there would be lots of thing to be done and to be settled! For this few days, I would be busy stapling the final exam question paper. Believe it or not, I have to staple them in 1-2 days only because the exam is on 5th of November and I have about  450 papers to staple! Fuh!!! I just can’t imagine how I am going to do that with two boisterous boys at home.  I really hope that somebody would help me with that. It is not the matter last minute work but in this case, I become the victim. The teacher who is suppose to do the work is on maternity leave. I’ve to take over her place because I’ve taken the maternity leave a few months ago. Meaning that this job is as a replacement for me for my 2 months holiday! I don’t know whether this is fair or not. I just don’t give a damn about this, it is not important anyway. What’s on my mind is, I will try my best to finish all my work on time!

  • Slow Banking

    Date: 2009.10.26 | Category: Teaching | Response: 0

I just got back from a ‘famous’ bank in my country. I guess as an estbalished bank in this country, the service should be tip top but I was so disappointed with it. Actually I wanted to open an account with that particular bank. Currently i’m using service from other bank and so far the service given is satisfying me. Then, I think I should open other account in other bank in order to manage my money but it turn up to be very disappointing.

I went there at about 11.45 and the clerk told me that there are currently 9 people waiting to open their account. I thought that should be OK for me to wait for my turn but then the clerk told me that for each person the process would be more than 30 minutes and she adviced me to come back early in the morning tomorrow.

I was so shocked! I’ve never been to a bank that take more than 30 minutes to process a new account application. I decided to go back because I don’t have time to wait that long! and I don’t know when I can go to that bank again because I have other comitment. I was so upset with the slow process and at the same time I was so depressed because I’ve arranged my time for the whole day so that I can complete my application but unfortunately it turn to be the other way around!

Song of the Week

You're my honey bunch
Sugarplum
Pumpy-umpy-umpkin
You're my sweetie pie
You're my cuppy cake
Gumdrop
Snoogums-boogums
You're the apple of my eye

And I love you so and I want you to know
That I'll always be right here
And I love to sing sweet songs to you
Because you are so dear
